Amb. YANG Houlan began his term as the Secretary-General of the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat in September 2015. He joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China in 1982. A career diplomat of 40 years, Amb. Yang previous served as Director of the Department of Asian Affairs, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Afghanistan, Ambassador for Korean Peninsula Affairs, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Nepal and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Myanmar. <BR><BR>양허우란(杨厚兰) 대사는 2015년 9월 한중일3국협력사무국 제3대 사무총장으로 취임했다. 40년 경력 베테랑 외교관인 양 대사는 1982년 외교부 입부 이후 아시아국 국장, 주 아프가니스탄 중국 특명 전권 대사, 한반도 문제 전담 대사, 주 네팔 중국 특명 전권 대사, 주 미얀마 중국 특명 전권 대사 등을 역임했다.
