이준우는 목사이면서 교수이고 사회복지사이면서 수어통역사다. 대학 시절 농인과의 만남을 시작으로 장애인복지와 교회를 중심으로 펼치는 지역사회복지를 실천해왔다. 강남대학교 사회복지학부와 대학원 교수로 있으면서 ‘사람과 세상을 변혁시키며 행복을 창출하는 연구자로서의 삶’을 지향한다. ‘비전은 속도가 아니라 방향’이라고 생각하며 끊임없이 도전하는 사회복지사, 수어통역사, 목사, 교수로 ‘복지선교’와 ‘복지목회’, ‘복지경영’, ‘장애인복지와 재활’, ‘수화언어 연구’의 소명을 감당하고 있다. 주요 저서로 《농인의 삶과 수화언어》, 《통합과 융합의 사회복지실천》 등이 있다.

Jun Woo Lee is a pastor, professor, social worker and sign language interpreter at the same time. He practiced community welfare focused on welfare for the people with disability and church since his encounter with a deaf during his college years. He is currently working at the Undergraduate and Graduate School of Social Welfare in Kangnam University aiming to live a life of a scholar who brings change in human and society and creates happiness. He takes on the vocation of ‘welfare mission’, ‘welfare ministry’, ‘welfare management’, ‘welfare and rehabilitation for the disabled’ and ‘sign language research’ as a social worker, sign language interpreter, pastor and professor who continuously challenges oneself with a philosophy of vision determined by direction and not speed. His major books include ‘Deaf Life and Sign Language’, and ‘Social Welfare Practice of Integration and Convergence’.
