센딩리 박사는 푸단 대학 국제 연구소의 교수이자 전 부학장이며 세인트 루이스 워싱턴 대학의 명예 방문 교수로 국제 안보, 중미 관계, 중국의 외교 및 국방 정책, 미국 과 “Semester at Sea” 프로그램을 가르쳤다. 그의 연구와 출판물은 중미 안보관계, 지역 안보와 국제 전략, 군비 통제와 비확산, 중국과 미국의 외교 및 국방 정책 등을 다루고 있다. 중국 남아시아연구협회, 상하이 국제연구소, 상하이 미국 연구소 및 상하이 유엔 연구 협회의 부회장직을 맡고 있다. 1989년 푸단 대학교에서 물리학 박사 학위를 받았으며, 1989년부터1991년 프린스턴 대학교에서 군비통제 관련 박사 후 과정을 마쳤다.

Dr. Dingli Shen is a Professor and the former Associate Dean at Fudan University’s Institute of International Studies. He is also an Honorary Visiting Professor of Washington University in St. Louis. Shen has taught international security, China-US relations, China’s foreign and defense policy, the US and the “Semester at Sea” Program. His research and publication covers China-US security relations, regional security and international strategy, arms control and nonproliferation, foreign and defense policy of China and the US. Shen is Vice President of Chinese Association of South Asian Studies, Shanghai Association of International Studies, Shanghai Association of American Studies, and Shanghai UN Research Association. He received his Ph.D. in physics from Fudan in 1989 and completed his post-doc in arms control at Princeton University from 1989-1991.
