다나베 마나부는 일본 컬러플래닝 대표이다. 그는 도쿄 미나토구 출생으로 1991년 무사시노 미술대학을 졸업하였다. 이후 환경디자인 연구소와 도쿄 공업대학 건축학과 연구원을 거쳐 컬러플래닝센터에서 근무하였다. 무사시노 미술대학 조형학부의 강사와 가마쿠라시 도시경관심의회의 위원으로 활동하고 있으며 주요 업무로는 도쿄도 색채 가이드라인 수립(2006), 히로시마시 도시경관계획(2013) 등이 있다.

Tanabe MANABU is the representative of Japan's color planning. Born in Minato Ward, Tokyo, he graduated from Musashino University of Fine Arts in 1991. After that, he worked at the Color Planning Center after working as a researcher in the Department of Environmental Design and Tokyo Institute of Technology. He is a lecturer at Musashino Art University's Faculty of Design and a member of the Kamakura City Urban Landscape Council. His main tasks include Tokyo Color Guidelines (2006) and Hiroshima City Urban Landscape Planning (2013).
