ETRI has been a key innovator to improve the technology capabilities of Korean ICT industry for 47 years. Dr. Park is in charge of technology commercialization, including technology transfer, start-up incubation, supporting SMEs, patents management as well as globalization. He joined many R&D projects for 30 years, served as a project manager in communication satellite development, postal information and automation. He also has an experience as a communication satellite engineer in US and UK. Based on this background, he is teaching the catch-up process by technology commercialization to the students from developing countries at KAIST.
In terms of knowledge & technology sharing program in ICT, he has advised dozens of countries by consulting, planning and pilot program at site with partner institutes and companies.
