송경빈은 현재 숭실대학교 전기공학부 교수로 재직하며 2004년부터 산업자원부 전력산업기초인력양성사업과 고급인력양성사업에 약 18년간 참여하여 전력산업의 전문가를 양성하고 있다. 전력계통의 안정적인 운영을 위한 대표적인 연구로 전력거래소와 공동으로 단기전력수요예측 프로그램을 성공적으로 개발하고 전력시장 규칙개정위원회, 분쟁조정위원회, 수요예측검증위원회, 전력수급자문 TF 및 신뢰도협의회에서 전력계통의 신뢰성을 높이는데 기여하고 있다. 대한전기학회 평의원으로 전력정책위원회 위원장과 연구조사위원회 위원장을 역임했다. 송경빈은 연세대학교 전기공학과에서 학사학위와 석사학위를 취득하였으며 1995년 미국의 텍사스 A&M 대학교에서 전기공학 전공으로 박사학위를 취득하였습니다.

"Kyung-Bin Song is currently a Professor in Electrical Engineering at Soongsil University, Seoul, Republic of Korea.
He is currently contributing to enhancing the reliability of the electric power system in Rule Revision Committee and Dispute Mediation Committee of Electricity Market Operation Council, Verification Committee of Electric Load Forecasting, the Electricity Supply and Demand Advisory Task Force and Reliability Council of the Power System of the Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy. He is a member of the Korean Electrical Society and served as the chairman of the Electricity Policy Committee and the Chairman of the Research and Investigation Committee. Kyung-Bin Song received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea, in 1986 and 1988, respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas in 1995."
