조강욱은 전력거래소의 개발본부장이다. 그는 한국전력공사와 전력거래소에서 30년 이상 일하여 왔다. 그는 두 기관에서 전력계통 계획과 운영 그리고 전력시장 설계에 관련된 일을 하여 왔다. 그는 전력계통 계획과 운영 그리고 전력시장 설계 등의 현안에 대하여 정부 정책 등을 지원하고 있다. 조강욱은 서울대학교에서 전기공학 학사 학위와 석사 학위를 받았다. 그는 또한 CIGRE 연구위원회 SC2의 한국대표를 역임한 바 있다.

Kangwook Cho is the Executive Director of Korea Power Exchange. He was involved in power system planning and operation when he worked for Korea Electric Power Corporation. After being affiliated to Korea Power Exchange, he has been involved in electricity market reform. He has supported government policies related to power system planning & operation and electricity market reform. Kangwook Cho earned his B.A. and M.S. in electrical engineering from Seoul National University. He also served as a Korean representative for CIGRE SC2.
