제시카 리는 퀸시연구소 선임연구위원이다. 주요 연구 분야는 동맹과 북한에 중점을 둔 미국의 아시아-태평양 정책이다. 한국계 미국인 리더십 개발을 위한 국가 비영리 기관인 미주한인위원회(Council of Korean Americans)의 대표를 역임했으며, 호놀룰루 소재 태평양 포럼(Pacific Forum) 주재 연구원과 아시아그룹(The Asia Group, LLC)의 선임관리자를 지냈다. 미국 하원 외교위원회 직원과 세입위원회(Congress on the Ways and Means Committee) 위원의 선임입법보좌관으로 워싱턴에서 13년 전 근무를 시작하였다. 현재 아시아-태평양 리더십 네트워크(Asia Pacific Leadership Network) 선임연구원, 미국 외교협회(Council on Foreign Relations) 단기 회원, 전미북한위원회(National Committee on North Korea) 회원이다. 웨슬리 대학교(Wellesley College) 정치학과를 졸업하고, 하버드 대학교에서 동아시아 석사 학위를 받았다.


Jessica J. Lee is a Senior Research Fellow in the East Asia Program at the Quincy Institute. Her research focuses on U.S. foreign policy toward the Asia-Pacific region, with an emphasis on alliances and North Korea. Previously, Jessica led the Council of Korean Americans, a national nonprofit organization that supports Korean American leadership development. Prior to CKA, Jessica was a Resident Fellow at the Pacific Forum in Honolulu and a senior manager at The Asia Group, LLC. She began her career in Washington 13 years ago as a staff member on the House Committee on Foreign Affairs and as a senior legislative assistant for a member of Congress on the Ways and Means Committee. Jessica is a senior associate fellow at the Asia Pacific Leadership Network, a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and a member of the National Committee on North Korea. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from Wellesley College and an A.M. in East Asian Studies from Harvard University.
