롤랜드 윌슨 박사는 한국조지메이슨대학교 분쟁분석 및 해결학부의 프로그램 코디네이터 및, 교수, 그리고 교직원 고문을 맡고 있다. 또한 아시아평화와 분쟁연구 센터의 공동 책임자이자 국제적인 중재자 및 컨설턴트이다.
윌슨 박사는 군대, 정부 및 학계에서 34년 이상의 경험을 쌓아왔고, 아시아 태평양 지역 국가들의 관계와 외교 정책, 외교, 안보 및 분쟁에 관한 연구를 진행해 왔다. 또한 동아시아 지역에서 20년 이상 거주하였기에 고급 한국어 구사 능력을 갖추고 있다.

Dr. Wilson is the Program Coordinator, Professor and faculty advisor for the Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution at George Mason University’s campus in South Korea. He is also the Peace and Conflict Studies Center Asia (PACSC Asia) Co-director, an international mediator and consultant.
Dr. Wilson possesses more than 34 years of combined military, government and academic experience and has written about a myriad of complex subjects, including Asia Pacific relations, foreign policy, diplomacy, security and conflict issues. He has also lived in East Asia for more than 20 years and speaks Korean at a professional-level.
Dr. Wilson is currently working to create and enhance local community and governmental capacity to peacefully mediate, transform, and resolve culturally diverse and historically deep-rooted and protracted conflicts.
