이승호 교수는 현재 고려대학교 국제대학원 국제개발협력 전공으로 재직 중이다. 이 교수는 수자원정책, 물과 재난, 국제하천협력과 분쟁, 수처리 민관합작투자 사업 등 주제에 대한 연구를 하고 중국, 한국, 동남아시아 및 유럽 지역에 관심을 갖고 있다. 최근 연구업적으로는 2021년 9월 출판예정인 ‘China’s Water Resources Management: A Long March to Sustainability’ (단독저자)가 있고 공동저자로 참여한 Book Chapter로 ‘Security and development in transboundary water management between North Korea and China in the Yalu River Basin (2020) 등이 있다. 환경부, K-water, 유네스코 물안보센터, GGGI, UNESCAP 등에 자문을 제공해왔다.

Dr. Seungho Lee is Professor at the Graduate School of International Studies, Korea University. His research interests are institutional change in water policy, water-related disaster management, transboundary water management, and public private partnership projects in water supply and sanitation services with reference to China, Korea, Southeast Asia, and Europe. Recent publications include his upcoming monograph, ‘China’s Water Resources Management: A Long March to Sustainability (2021)’, ‘Security and development in transboundary water management between North Korea and China in the Yalu River Basin (2020),’ and ‘Regional cooperation through the Greater Mekong Subregion (2020)’. Professor Lee often consults with various ministries of the Korean government, K-water, UNESCO, GGGI and UNESCAP.
