"윤찬엽 교수는 석사(1996년) 및 박사(2000년)를 런던 대학교 Royal Holloway에서 정보 보안 학위를 취득했습니다. 박사 후 영국 브리스톨에있는 Toshiba TRL에 입사 한 후에, 서울에있는 LG 전자, 모바일 핸드셋 R & D 센터에서 상무 (2005년)로 모바일 TV 기술 및 관련 보안 개발을 담당했습니다. 2007년에 LG 전자를 떠나 2008년 8월까지 KAIST에 이직 한 후 2008년 9월에 UAE에 있는 칼리파대학교에서 현재까지 재직하고 있습니다.

윤찬엽교수는 현재 IoT / USN 보안, 사이버-물리 시스템 보안, AI 보안 및 블록체인 암호화 기술을 포함한 사이버 보안 연구하고 있으며, 전기 공학 및 컴퓨터 과학과의 부교수로 재직중입니다. 그는 또한 석사 정보 보안 및 박사를 칼리파 대학의 공학부에서 가르치고 있고 그는 130 개 이상의 저널 기사와 학회 논문, 9 개의 Book Chapters 및 10 개의 국제 특허 출원을 발표했습니다. 또한 여러 국제 저널의 편집위원회와 국제 회의 운영위원회에서 활동하고 있습니다. 그는 IEEE의 선임 회원입니다."

"Dr. Chan Yeob Yeun holds M.Sc. (1996) and Ph.D. (2000) degrees in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London. After his Ph.D., he joined Toshiba TRL in Bristol, UK, and later became a Vice President at LG Electronics, Mobile Handset R&D Center, in Seoul, Korea (2005) where he was responsible for developing mobile TV technologies and related security. He left LG Electronics in 2007 and joined KAIST (Korea) until August 2008 and then Khalifa University of Science and Technology in September 2008.

Dr. Yeun is currently a researcher in cybersecurity including IoT/USN security, cyber-physical system security, AI security, Blockchain, and cryptographic techniques as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and an active member of Center for Cyber-Physical Systems (C2PS). He also enjoys lecturing M.Sc. Information Security and Ph.D. Engineering courses at Khalifa University. He has published more than 130 journal articles and conference papers, nine book chapters and 10 international patent applications. He also serves on the editorial board of multiple international journals and on the steering committee of international conferences. He is a senior member of the IEEE."
