"KT AI/DX플랫폼사업본부 박민호는 KT 환경사업 팀의 리더이다. KT 환경사업은 2018년 에어맵 코리아 프로젝트를 선언하고, IoT기반 사람이 숨쉬는 높이의 미세먼지를 측정하고 공기질을 개선하는 다양한 솔루션을 복합적으로 제공하는 플랫폼 서비스를 제공하고 있다.
에어맵 코리아 프로젝트를 이끄는 박민호 팀장은 환경분야 4차 산업혁명 성장을 위한 자문위원으로 활동했으며, 2019년 케냐 UNEP에 참석하여 UNEP/케냐 사파리콤/구글 등과 에어맵 프로젝트(미세먼지 측정망) 구축을 수행했다. 2019년 국무총리상 대한민국환경대상 수상(KT), 2020년 날씨경영우수기업 및 에어맵 App수상 등 한국의 미세먼지 대응에 앞장서고 있다.
IoT 측정기 설치 위치 설계, 빅데이터기반 도로 청소차 이동경로 최적화, 환경데이터 보정 알고리즘 등 특허 3건 출원 실적을 보유하고 있으며, 3년동안 축적된 환경 데이터기반으로 다양한 분야와 융복합을 통해 환경데이터/플랫폼의 영역을 확대해 나가고 있다.
에어맵 코리아 프로젝트 성공사례 기반으로 수질, 폐기물 등 환경 전분야로 사업 확대 및 미래 세대를 위한 기후위기 대응을 위한 노력을 계속할 것이다."

"KT AI/DX platform business division Min-Ho Park is the leader of KT’s environmental business team. KT environmental business declared the AirMap Korea project in 2018, and measures particulate matter at the height that people breathe based on IoT. It provides a platform service that provides a variety of solutions to improve air quality. Mon-Ho Park, who leads the AirMap Korea project, served as an advisor for the growth of the 4th industrial revolution in the environmental field. He attended UNEP in Kenya In 2019 and built an air map project(particulate matter measurement)with UNEP/Kenya Safaricom/Google. KT won the prime minister’s award for the environment of the republic of Korea in 2019, and is taking the lead in responding to particulate matter in Korea by winning the 2020 weather management excellence award and air map app award.
It has three patent applications including IoT measuring device installation location design, big bata-based road cleaning route optimization, and environmental data correction algorithm. Based on the environmental data accumulated for three years, it is expanding the environmental data/platform area through various fields and convergence.
Based on the success stories of the AirMap Korea project, we will expand our business to all environmental fields such as water quality and waste, and continue our efforts to respond to the climate crisis for future generations."
