조부연은 제주대학교 경영학과 부교수 이다. 금융 및 IT산업에서의 근무 경험을 기반으로 기술경영 및 서비스 사이언스 부분에 대한 연구를 수행하고 있다. 제주특별자치도 정책자문위원 등을 수행하면서 제주도에 대하여 폭넓은 지식을 가지고 있으며, 국내 및 해외저널에 50편 이상 논문을 게재하였다. Higher Colleges of Technology, UAE Dubai 에서 3년간 교수로 활동하면서 MENA (MIddle East & North Africa) 지역 및 무슬림 문화에 대한 교류 경험을 가지고 있다. 조부연은 고려대학교에서 심리학 문학사, 경영학 MBA, 경영학 박사 학위를 받았다.

Prof. Boo Yun Cho is an Associate Professor of Business Administration at Jeju National University. Based on his work experience in the financial and IT industries, his research area ranges from services operations management to technology management with more than 50 publications and books on national and international platforms. He has extensive knowledge about Jeju Island while serving as a policy advisor for Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. He spent three years teaching at Higher Colleges of Technology, Dubai, UAE, where he had experience in exchange for MENA (Middle East & North Africa) and Muslim culture. He received a bachelor's degree in psychology, an MBA in business administration, and a doctorate in business administration from Korea University.
