현재 샤타 셰티는 APLN의 사무총장직을 맡고 있다. APLN 사무총장직을 맡기 전 European Leadership Network (ELN)의 공동설립자 및 사무차장으로 10년이상 근무하였다. 또한 그녀는 ELN의 집행이사회의 일원으로 활동하고 있다. 군비 통제, 전략적 위험 감소 및 글로벌 군축 외교가 그녀의 연구관심사이며 국방 안보 문제 와 핵 관련 문제에 대해 국제적인 목소리를 내고 있다. 런던대학교에서 국제공공정책 석사학위를 받고 2004년 컴퓨터공학 학사를 받았다.

Shatabhisha Shetty is the Executive Director of the Asia Pacific Leadership Network. She is a co-founder of the European Leadership Network (ELN), serving as Deputy Director for over ten years before joining APLN. She is a member of the ELN Executive Board. Her research interests include arms control, strategic risk reduction, global disarmament diplomacy and has written and spoken internationally on an array of defence and nuclear related issues. Educated at University College London, she has a Masters in International Public Policy and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science in 2004.
