강채연은 성균관대학교 정치학박사다. 전공은 국제정치이며 주요 연구분야는 북한정치경제, 남북관계, 통일정책, 사회통합이다. 성균관대학교에서 석사, 박사학위를 받았고, 서울대학교 통일평화연구원, 통일연구원에서 근무한 경험이 있다. 최근논문 및 저서로는 “1950년대 북한 전쟁고아정책: 혼돈의 시기, 그 너머(2021)”, “광복 75년사 북한 보훈정책의 변천: 공백과 접점(2020)”, “김정은 시대 관광산업의 국제화전략과 협력의 선택적 이중구조(2020)”, “북한여성노동력의 경제적 의미와 인권(2020)”, 『남에서 북을 다시보다(2020)』, 『북한 선군정치와 관료적 시장경제(2019)』등이 있다.

Chaeyeon Kang is the doctor of political science. His major is are international politics and his main area of research interest are North Korean political economy, inter-Korean relations, unification policy, and social integration.
