이경용은 제주특별자치도의회 제10대, 제11대 도의원이다. 서귀포시 서홍동·대륜동을 지역구로 한다. 도의회 행정자치위원회, 예산결산특별위원회에서 활동하고 있다. 서귀포 출생으로 경희대학교 법학박사를 취득했다.
전문성을 가지고 서귀포시 감사위원회 위원, 제주도 공유재산심의위원, 서귀포시 규제개혁심의위원 등 다양한 활동을 해왔다. 특히 서귀포시 자치권 확보, 관광, 환경, 문화, 스포츠 등 다양한 분야에 관심을 가지고 관련 제도를 정비하기 위해 노력하고 있다.

Kyung-yong Lee is the 10th and 11th Provincial Council member of the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. He has local constituencies for Seohong-dong and Daeryun-dong of Seogwipo-si.
He serves on the Provincial Council’s Administrative and Self-Governing Committee and the Special Committee on Budget and Accounts.
Born in Seogwipo, he earned a doctorate in law at Kyunghee University.
With expertise as a lawyer, he has been engaged in various activities, including a member of Seogwipo City Audit Committee, Jeju Public Property Review Committee, and Seogwipo City Regulatory Reform Review Committee.
In particular, he is trying to improve related systems with interest in various fields such as securing autonomy in Seogwipo City, tourism, the environment, culture, and sports.
