루쓰 폴라체크는 이스라엘 여성 소프트웨어 개발업체 ‘SheCodes’(그녀는 코딩한다)의 창업자이자 대표이다. 소프트웨어 개발업자의 여성 비율을 50 퍼센트까지 달성한다는 목표 아래 ‘SheCodes’는 이스라엘의 모든 대학과 구글, IBM, 인텔 등 주요 하이테크 단지와 기업에 있는 50개 시설에서 매 달 200회의 교육을 진행한다. 작년 한 해만 해도 ‘SheCodes’는 700명이 넘는 여성들이 기술분야에서 경력을 쌓을 수 있도록 도왔다.
폴라체크는 텔 아비브에 본부를 둔 생화학기술회사 ‘LessTests’(더 적은 테스트)의 대표이자 공동 창업자이기도 하다. 이 회사의 목표는 세계 전역에서 코로나 검사 수를 늘려 뉴노멀 시대가 가능케 하는 것이다. 코로나 19의 위협에도 일상이 멈추지 않도록 하기 위하여 결합 풀링 방식을 사용하여 검사 수를 최대한 늘리고 있다.

Setting a goal of reaching 50% of female software developers. she codes; holds ~200 events every month in over 50 branches across Israel in all the Universities and in major tech hubs and companies such as Google, IBM, Amazon and Intel. Over the past year alone she codes; has helped over ~700 women join and advance in their technology careers.
Polachek is also the CEO & Co-Founder of LessTests, a Tel-Aviv based biotechnology company aimed at increasing the number of tests worldwide and enabling a new-normal. Its mission is to help the world live alongside COVID-19, by dramatically increasing the number of tests using combinatorial pooling.
