Eui Keun Kim is the President and CEO of International Convention Center Jeju. He has awarded PhD Degree in Tourism Management from Kyonggi University in 2001 and received Master degree in Hotel Management from Sejong University in 1995. He served as the chairman of the organizing committee of many international events including the Wind Energy Asia Conference and Exhibition and Asia Cruise Forum Jeju. He also served as a consultant to the presidential committee for Balanced National Development and was awarded the Prime Minister Citation in recognition of his contribution in the development of Korean maritime industry. Mr. Kim currently serves as the secretary general of the Asia Cruise Leaders Network and is also a professor at Jeju International University. His focus is on invigorating local tourism and economy by strengthening MICE industry ecosystem in Jeju and building the foundation for raising MICE into a higher value-added industry.

김의근 제주국제컨벤션센터 대표이사 사장은 1995년 세종대학교 대학원에서 호텔경영학석사를 받았고 2001년 경기대학교 대학원에서 관광경영학 박사학위를 취득했습니다. 그는 아시아풍력에너지박람회 조직위원장, 제주국제크루즈포럼 조직위원장, 대통령직속 국가균형발전위원회 자문위원을 지냈으며, 한국 해양산업발전에 기여한 공로를 인정받아 2015년 국무총리 표창을 수상한 바 있습니다. 현재 아시아크루즈리더스네트워크 사무총장 및 제주국제대학교 관광경영학과 교수로 재임 중입니다. 김의근 대표이사는 제주의 MICE산업 생태계를 보다 견고히 하고, MICE산업을 고부가가치 산업으로 성장시키는 초석을 마련함으로써 제주 관광과 지역경제 활성화에 기여하는데 주력하고 있습니다.
