Sang Hyun Song is a professor at Dankook University. He holds the chairs of department of Middle Eastern Studies, He received his PhD in Middle East Studies(History) from the Middle East Center at the University of Utah in 2015. In 2019 he was the Secretary-General of Korean Association of Middle East Studies. His academic interest are Saudi oil policy, Rentierism, and Economic Diversification in the GCC Countires. He Published articles such as “The Economic and Political Background of Saudi Vision 2030 and Its Future,” “The Pragmatic Attitude of the Wahhabi ‘Ualama toward Their Saudi Rulers,” and “The Influence of Saudi Oil Policy on the Second Oil Shock.”

송상현은 단국대학교 중동학과 조교수이다. 그는 현재 중동학과 학과장으로 근무하고 있다. 그는 2015년 미국 유타 대학교의 중동센터에서 중동학(역사)로 박사학위를 받았으며 2019년 한국중동학회 총무이사를 지냈다. 그의 주요 학문적 관심사는 사우디아라비아 석유정책, 렌티어리즘, GCC 국가의 산업다각화이다. 주요 저서로는 “사우디아라비아 비전 2030의 경제적정치적 배경과 향후과제,” “와하비 울라마들의 사우디 지도자들에 대한 실용적 태도,” “사우디아라비아 석유정책이 제2차 석유파동에 미친 영향” 등이 있다.
