Changwoo Shon received a Ph.D. in Health Science from Seoul National University and currently works for the Seoul Institute. The main research areas are urban health, healthy cities, and community health. Currently, he is conducting research on establishing a system for new infectious disease management, agenda-setting in the Post-corona era. In addition, he recently published research papers related to COVID-19 in the Korea Journal of hospital management (The Response of the Seoul Municipal Hospitals against COVID-19 and Its Implications for Public Hospitals), Journal of Korean Society for Health Education and Promotion (The direction of Healthy Cities through the COVID-19 pandemic experience of Seoul, South Korea), and BMJ Open journal (COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on unmet needs for healthcare in South Korea). In addition, he is an adjunct professor of the Catholic University of Korea, an academic director of the Korea Health Communication Association, an academic director of the Korean Healthy Cities Partnership, and a member of the Disaster Safety Project Evaluation Committee of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety in Korea.

손창우 박사는 서울대학교에서 보건학 박사를 취득하였고, 현재 서울연구원 도시사회연구실에서 보건의료정책 연구를 수행 중에 있다. 주요 연구분야는 도시건강, 건강도시, 지역사회보건이며, 현재 ‘신종감염병 대응체계 수립 연구’, ‘포스트 코로나 시대의 의제도출 연구’를 수행하고 있다. 또한 최근 ‘서울시립병원의 코로나19 대응을 통해 본 공공병원의 시사점 고찰(병원경영학회지)’, ‘건강도시 관점에서 본 서울시 코로나19 대응과 건강도시의 정책 방향(보건교육건강증진학회지)’, ‘COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on unmet needs for healthcare in South Korea(BMJ Open)’를 게재하는 등, 코로나19 관련 학술활동도 활발히 수행 중에 있다. 이 외에, 그는 현재 카톨릭대학교 외래교수, 행정안전부 재난안전사업평가위원회 위원, 대한민국건강도시협의회 학술위원, 한국헬스커뮤니케이션 학회 학술이사, 한국치매케어학회, 한국장기요양학회 이사로 활동하고 있다.
