Since 1999, Lim Min-hee has been demonstrating and preserving the unique value of Jeju Island through “Art and Space”, a design company she founded in her hometown Jeju. She has actively played a key role in supporting women entrepreneurs succeed in the society, serving as the vice-chairperson of the Korean Women Entrepreneurs Association and the president of the Jeju chapter. Her various paper and writing on design include <Research Report on Renovation of the Jeju 4 · 3 Peace Memorial Hall>(2014) and <Hallasan National Park Public Design>(2019), which led her to win 2 important awards from the government; Minister of Gender Equality and Family in 2012 and Minister of the Environment in 2014.

임민희 한국 여성경제인 협회 제주 지회장은 1967년 제주도 출생으로 서울에서 인테리어디자인을 전공하여 실무활동을 하다가 1994년 결혼하면서 다시 고향인 제주에 정착하였다. 그때만 해도 제주도는 디자인 불모지로, 1999년 6월 `예술과 공간’을 창립했다. 그 이후 디자인회사를 경영하면서 가장 제주적인 제주의 가치를 보존하는 회사를 만들고자 노력하였다. 또한, 여성경제인들의 사회적으로 당당히 설 수 있도록 한국여성경제인협회 부회장과 제주지회장을 맡아 노력하고 있다. 디자인 관련 저서로 ＜제주4.3평화 기념관 상설전시실 리노베이션 연구보고서＞(2014), ＜한라산국립공원 공공디자인＞(2019)등이 있으며, 이러한 업적으로 2012년 여가부장관상과 2014년 환경부장관상을 수상했다.
