Yang Keeho graduated from Yonsei University with a degree in politics and diplomacy, and received his doctoral degree in political science from Keio University in Japan at 1994. Since 1996, he has been a professor of Japanese studies at Sungkonghoe University.
As of October 2020, he served as a 2nd member of Presidential Committee on Policy Planning, a policy advisor to the National Security department in Blue House Office, a standing member of The National Unification Advisory Council, an advisor to the Northeast Asian History Foundation and a vice president of the World Political Association.
His major papers and books are "The Issues of Forced Labor and the Structural Change of Korea-Japan Relations" in The Korea Journal of Japanese Studies (KJJS) (2020), "The Origin of Korea-Japan Conflict in Moon Jae-in Government" in The Korean Journal of Japanology of (2019) and "The 50th Anniversary of the normalization of Korea-Japan relations" in the Yonsei University Press (2016).

양기호는 연세대학교 정치외교학과와 동 대학원 정치학과를 졸업하고, 1994년 일본 게이오대에서 정치학박사 학위를 취득. 1996년부터 성공회대학교 일본학 전공 교수로 재직중이다. 2020년 10월 현재 제2기 대통령직속 정책기획위원회 위원, 청와대 국가안보실 정책자문위원, 민주평화통일자문회의 상임위원, 동북아역사재단 자문위원, (전)세계정치학회 부회장 등을 역임하였다. 주요 논문과 저서로 “강제징용 쟁점과 한일관계의 구조적 변용” 일본연구논총 (2020), “문재인정부 한일갈등의 기원” 일본학보 (2019), “한일국교정상화 50주년과 한일관계” 연세대학교 출판문화원 (2016)등이 있다.
