Kim Sang-Hoon was born on July 25, 1962 in Jeju, and is currently working as a vice president of External Affairs and Development at Cheju Halla General Hospital where he has worked for 27 years. His specialties are dentistry and agricultural economics, and he has worked on several national projects involving bioindustry such as the LOHAS wellness health care. He planned a health resort ‘THE WE,’ a combination of hospital and hotel, which is the first health resort in South Korea and the only one in Southeast Asia. It has been further developed and certified by the EU Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS). It was also voted as Travelers’ Choice for three consecutive years (from 2018 to 2020) by TripAdvisor, which is the world’s most influential travel platform.

김상훈은 1962년 7월 25일 제주에서 태어나 현재 제주한라병원 대외협력부원장으로 27년째 재직 중이다. 전공 분야는 치의학과 농업경제학이며, 주로 로하스, 웰니스, 헬스케어 등 생명산업 분야의 국가 과제를 수행해 왔다. 우리나라 최초이며 동남아 유일의 병원과 호텔이 결합된 헬스리조트(THE WE)를 기획하였으며, 더욱 발전시켜 유럽연합의 환경경영감사제도(EMAS) 인증을 획득하였으며, 세계에서 가장 영향력 있는 여행 플랫폼인 트립어드바이저로부터 3년 연속(2018-2020) 트래블러스 초이스로 선정된 바 있다.
