Seung-Hyeon SEOK graduated with a bachelor’s degree of pharmacy at Seoul National University. He obtained a master's degree and a doctorate degree in pharmaceutical science at Seoul National University, majoring in the determination of the 3D structure of proteins and the study of interaction between proteins and drug candidates. He was appointed as a postdoctoral researcher at College of Pharmacy in Ajou University and Medical School, University of Wisconsin-Madison, United States. He was appointed to the College of Pharmacy at Jeju National University in January 2020 and is currently serving as the acting Dean of the College of Pharmacy.

석승현 약학대학장 직무대리는 2006년 서울대학교 약학대학에서 약학사 학위를 취득하였다. 같은 대학에서 단백질의 3차 구조 규명 및 약물 후보물질과의 결합 연구를 전공으로 약학석사 및 약학박사 학위를 취득하였다. 아주대학교 약학대학, 미국 위스콘신 주립대 의학대학에서 박사 후 연구원을 거쳐 2020년 1월 제주대학교 약학대학에 임용되었으며 현재 약학대학장 직무대리를 맡고 있다.
