우수근 소장은 한국 인하대학교 학사(수석졸업), 일본 게이오대학 석사(국제법), 미국 미네소타 주립대 로스쿨 석사, 중국 상하이 화동사범대학교 박사(국제법, 국제관계)를 졸업했다.

20여 년 이상의 해외에서의 학업, 연구 및 중국대학(상하이 동화대학) 교수직을 거쳐 현재 (사)평화와 먹고사는문제연구소 소장을 역임하고 있다. 특히, 14년 간 중국생활에 걸친 탁월한 안목과 식견으로 국내 매스컴 등에서 중국전문가로 활발히 활동하고 있다.

저서로는, 『한중일 힘의 대전환(2019)』, 『우수근 교수의 실사구시 중국진출전략(2014)』 등 11권이 있다.

Sukeun Woo holds with top honors Bachelor’s degree from Inha University, in Korea, Master’s in International Law from Keio University in Japan, LL.M from university of Minnesota in USA, Ph.D in International Law and International Relations from East China Normal University in Shanghai, China.

With more than 20 years dedicated to his studies, researches and teaching at Donghua University abroad, Dr. Woo currently serves as the director of the Research Institute for Peace & Livelihood. In particular, with his remarkable vision and insight about 14 years of living in China, he has also makes television appearances in the South Korean media as a China expert.

Dr. Woo has published 11 books including "The Power shift of Korea, China and Japan (2019)" and " A Realistic and Pragmatic approach Strategies for the Advancement to China by Professor Sukeun Woo (2014)".
