Dr. Min-Ho Kim is a professor of Jeju National University(JNU). He has studied community-based education in perspective of lifelong education. He was a president of the Korean Society of Lifelong Education from January 2014 to December 2015. At Japanese Society of Social Education, he gave a presentation about Korean discourses of lifelong education, and also presented a case study of community-based civic learning in Korea. When he went to UCLA as visiting scholar from August 2012 to July 2013, he studied on a NGO’s staff learning at Korean town in L.A. He suggested a national policy of after-school program in Korea when he was a expert member of Presidential Committee of Eucation Innovation from October 2005 to February 2007. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from Seoul National University in 1997. He has been teaching students at a pre-service institution for elementary school teacher in JNU since 1986.

김민호(金民浩, 57) 제주대학교 교수는 평생교육 분야의 전문가이자, 초등교원 양성기관의 교육자다. 2014년 1월부터 2015년 12월까지 한국평생교육학회 회장을 역임했고, 한일 학술교류를 통해 일본 사회교육학회에서 한국의 평생교육 담론과 지역사회교육 사례 논문을 발표했다. 2012년 8월부터 2013년 7월까지 미국 UCLA에 방문 교수로 있으면서 LA 한인타운 시민단체 직원들의 학습활동을 연구했다. 2005년 10월부터 2007년 2월까지 대통령자문 교육혁신위원회 전문위원으로서 방과후 활동의 제도화 방안을 제안했다. 서울대학교에서 교육학 학사, 석사 및 박사학위를 취득했고, 1986년부터 제주대학교 교육대학에서 초등교사를 양성해 오고 있다.
