YANG Gil-Hyun 양길현
	Jeju National University 제주대학교 Professor 교수 Gil-Hyun Yang obtained his Ph.D. degree in Political Science from Seoul National University in 1999, and is currently a professor of Ethics Education at Jeju National University (JNU). His specialty is in peace studies. Before he joined the faculty of JNU in 1999, he worked as a research fellow and research professor at the Institute for Far Eastern Studies, Kyungnam University for 15 years. He worked for, as the director, the Institute for Peace, as the chair, for the Faculty Association of JNU. He has actively participated in several organizations of peace practice such as the National Unification Advisory Council, the Presidential Committee on Northeast Asian Cooperation Initiative, Jeju Global Society, Jeju Council for Peace Island, Jeju Center of Unification Education and Jeju Forum for Peaceful Unification. Recently he is deeply involved in social economy as the leader of a social cooperative named ‘Haorm.’ 양길현(梁佶炫 61)은 평화연구가이자 평화교육가이다. 양교수는 서울대학교 정치학과를 졸업하고 서울대학교 대학원 정치학과에서 정치학박사를 받았다. 경남대학교 극동문제연구소에서 연구위원과 연구교수를 거쳐 1999년 제주대학교 윤리교육과에 부임하여 제주대학교 평화연구소 소장과 교수회 회장직을 수행했다. 민주평통 자문위원, 동북아시대위원회 전문위원, 세계평화의섬 범도민실천협의회 운영위원, 제주국제협의;회 부회장, 제주지역통일교육센터 소장, 제주평화통일포럼 연구위원장 등을 맡으면서 제주지역에서의 평화실천 사업과 과 평화통일운동에 참여하고 있다. 최근에는 사회적 협동조합을 통해 사회적 경제 살리기에도 적극 나서고 있다.
