신은규 교수는 동서대학교 보건행정학과 교수로, 보건행정학 및 보건산업의 진흥을 위해 활동하고 있다.
보건산업과 의료서비스산업과 관련한 국가 프로젝트, 보건행정과 관련한 각종 연구를 주도해 왔으며 특히 해외 환자 유치, 의료관광, 지역 자원과 연계한 의료서비스 개발 연구를 위해 힘써왔다. 그 과정에서 제주도 의료관광지원협의회 위원, 부산진구 의료관광 자문위원 등으로 활동하면서 산학계를 넘나들고 있다.
최근에는 의료관광 대상국가의 국가 이미지 선호에 관한 연구 등 학술적 접근과 각종교육활동, 산업계 자문 활동을 활발히 진행하며 산학계에 활기를 더하고 있다.

Prof. Eunkyu Shine is actively dedicating his efforts for the prosperity of the health administration and industry as a devoting educator of health administration department in Dongseo University.
He has endeavored to study the attracting foreign patients, medical tourism and the development of medical service based on the regional resources, leading the national projects regarding health and medical service industry, and several studies of health administration. In the meanwhile, he has been active in the both educational and industrial fields, being a member of the Medical Tourism Assistance Council in Jeju and a consultant of medical tourism in Busan.
Recently, Eunkyu Shine has vitalized the both side of fields with several educational and industrial advisory activities and academic approach, studying the preference for the national image of countries subject to medical tourism.
