JUNG Keun-Sik 정근식
	Seoul National University 서울대학교 Professor 교수 정근식은 서울대학교 사회학과를 졸업하고 동 대학원에서 박사학위를 받았으며, 전남대학교 교수를 거쳐 현재 서울대학교 사회학과 교수로 재직 중이다. 주요경력으로는 한국제노사이드연구회 회장, 서울대 사회학과 학과장, 제주4.3평화재단이사, 한국구술사학회 회장, 한국냉전학회 회장 등을 역임하였다. 저서로는 <한국전쟁의 기억과 기념의 문화정치: 전쟁기념관연구>, <냉전의 섬, 금문도의 재탄생> 등이 있다. Keun-Sik Jung received his B.A. and Ph.D. in Sociology from Seoul National University. Jung served as a professor in Chonnam National Univeristy and currently he is a Professor of Sociology at Seoul National University. Jung’s professional affiliations include: Chair of Korea Association of Genocide Research, Chair of the Department of Sociology at Seoul National University, a member of the board of directors for Jeju 4.3 Peace Foundation, Chair of Korean Oral History Association, and Chair of the Korean Association of the Cold War Studies. He published <Cultural politics of memory and commemoration of the Korean War: A Study on the War Memorial of Korea>, <The rebirth of Golden Gate, an island of the Cold War)
