1964년 출생. 서울대학교 국사학과 및 서울대학교 대학원 졸업한 후 중앙일보 통일문화연구소 전문기자, 국민대학교 및 북한대학원대학교 겸임교수 등을 역임했고, 현재 대통령직속 3.1운동 및 대한민국임시정부 100주년기념사업추진위원회 위원, 민족화해협력범국민협의회 정책위원 등으로 활동하고 있다. 전문분야는 북한사, 북한정치, 남북교류

JUNG CHANG-HYUN is the Director of the Korean Peace and Economy Institute, Moneytoday Media. He worked for Unification Research Institute of the JoongAng Ilbo during 1994-2004 after having completed his B.A. and M.A. degrees at Seoul National University. And He served as a adjunct professor at Kookmin University during 2001-2016.
His area of study includes North Korean history, society, and Inter-Korean Relationship. Since 2002, he has visited North Korea more than thirty times.
