Dr. Yongsoo Hwang is the Director General of KINAC at Strategic Policy and Research Centre of Korea Institute of Nuclear Non-proliferation and Control.
Before joining KINAC Dr Y Hwang worked in KAERI for more than 20 years in the field of spent fuel management. He served as a Member for Advisory Committee for the Korean Nuclear Safety and Security Commission(NSSC) and the 1st Public and Stakeholder Engagement Task Force Team to solve the spent nuclear fuel storage issues in the ROK. He also served as an Advisory Member for the IAEA Director General for Multi-lateral Nuclear Agreement(MNA) to solve the Iranian Issues between 2004 and 2005. He worked as a Visiting Fellow at CSIS at DC until 2012.
Dr Y Hwang got his MS and Ph D from University of California Berkeley majoring Nuclear Chemical Engineering and BS from Seoul National University.

황용수 박사는 한국원자력통제기술원 정책연구센터장이다. 한국원자력원구원에서 20년 넘게 사용후연료관리의 분야에서 일했다. 원자력안전위원회 한국 사용후연료관리 문제 해결을 위한 제1회 대중 및 당사자 기획단(TFT) 에서 활동했다. 또한, 2004-2005년 이란 문제 해결을 위한 IAEA다자참여핵접근(MNA) 정책관 자문회에서 일했으며, 미국 워싱턴 DC 국제전략문제연구소 (CSIS) 초빙연구원을 역임했다. 서울대학교 졸업 후UC 버클리에서 핵화학공학 석사 및 박사과정을 졸업했다.
